A yellow spider-like creature with four black eyes and large claws has been discovered in the sea depths off Antarctica. A study about this mysterious arthropod, which scientists have caught for the first time, was published by the journal ZooKeys.
Found it in the Ross Sea at a depth of about 570 metres. Apparently, it is one of the species of sea spiders. The new species was named Austropallene halanychi.
